Rahama

Project Name: Rahama

Category: Residence

Location:  Kozhikode poonoor

Plot Area: 70 cent

Built-up Area: 6700 Sq.ft.

In the green setting of Kerala, a striking home combines tradition and modern design. Its white façade, pitched roof, and stone columns echo the region’s style, while wide openings and clean interiors speak to today’s lifestyle.

As you enter, the house makes a strong first impression. A paved driveway leads to a broad front porch, and here, chairs invite quiet evenings and casual chats. Moreover, this threshold blurs the line between outdoors and indoors, a classic Kerala feature adapted for modern living.

Inside, the living room rises with a double-height ceiling. Leather sofas and a cluster of pendant lights create warmth against the tall walls. In addition, a clock above the curtains adds a homely touch, balancing drama with comfort. Therefore, the living room becomes the natural center for family gatherings.

Next comes the dining area, which flows directly from the living room. A glass-top table anchors the space, while a wood-paneled ceiling with soft lighting draws the eye upward. Furthermore, wooden screens partially separate the dining from the staircase, offering privacy without blocking air or light. As a result, everyday meals feel both intimate and open.

The kitchen continues this balance. Long counters, clean cabinets, and wide windows keep it bright and practical. Also, open shelves and organized drawers make cooking efficient, while neutral colors keep the room calm. Consequently, this space becomes the true heart of daily routines.

Upstairs, the master bedroom shows a quieter mood. A tufted headboard, soft lighting, and muted tones create restfulness. Meanwhile, chairs near the window provide a corner for reading or reflection. The bathrooms follow the same principle: compact, modern, and efficient.

Finally, the staircase landing ties the upper floor together. Wooden railings and a playful chandelier make it more than a corridor. Instead, it becomes a pause point where family members naturally cross paths.

Altogether, every part of this house reflects intention. It was created for family life, Kerala’s climate, and modern needs. In the end, its mix of openness, warmth, and utility ensures that it will remain a timeless home for years to come.
